A few years ago, I started working on a potential client’s short story book characters.
The plan was to make illustrations for the whole book. I’m not quite sure what
happened, but the client’s interest in the project started dimming, and then one day it
was gone.
I kept these two as a reminder that not everything always goes as planned, but
sometimes we’re left with treasures from those experiences.
